Company Description

Biomass Research is a research and consulting company from the Netherlands devoted to the development, analysis and evaluation of sustainable production chains in agriculture and the bioeconomy. It is focussing on data collection and analysis, project implementation and policy support. We combine a scientific basis with a pragmatic approach, an energetic attitude and a clear analytical view. There is a strong emphasis on quantitative research. Our customers include governments, supranational organizations (European Commission, FAO, International Energy Agency), private companies and NGOs.

Job Description

You will support the team in practical and administrative tasks. You will perform project administration and other administrative tasks and provide logistic support in the organisation of training sessions and webinars. You will also take care of our social media. The position provides room to develop your skills and gain project management experience.

We are looking for:

  • Relevant work experience
  • BSc level (or similar acquired via work experience)
  • Proactive personality with a service oriented attitude. You are flexible and you function well in a small team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, PowerPoint), Google (Gmail, calendar), Dropbox and Teams
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Knowledge of French is an advantage

Biomass Research offers a competetive salary in dynamic international environment with plenty opportunity to develop yourself. We provide supervision and room to grow. We offer a temporary contract for 20-24 hours per week during 6 months. Depending on performance and available projects, an extension may be offered.

Our office is based in Wageningen, but you will partially work from home.

Candidates should have permission to work in The Netherlands.
